Student Show Art Gallery '09

El Camino’s Student Show is finally here! On Friday, May 22 from 6-9 pm, the gallery will have a compilation of student work from digital art and photography to fine art and jewelry. On the same night the art building will have an open house where teachers will display more student work done in class. This is an excellent opportunity for students to show their work to friends, family and even reps from other schools. But even if you do not have a piece in the gallery it is inspiring to see some of the great work the student here at El Camino have done. Furthermore, it is also great for prospective El Camino art students to see what kind of work is done here.

As an art student, I believe seeing the great work in the student show will both inspire you to better yourself in the work you do and even make you want to try out other art classes the art department has to offer. However, I also think the Student Show will attract students who are simply interested in art will enjoy this show because it shows a different part of El Camino, the artistic part, that is not fully recognized by other departments.
